The Chiang Mai Zoo has announced that the elderly and children under 12 years old will have free entry into the zoo on the 13th October. This will also include any child under 135ms. All of this is in honour of the public holiday which marks the passing of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.  The zoo promises a multitude of family fun and friendly activities throughout the day.
