CityNews – Police paid a personal visit after receiving over 400 prank calls.
On June 27th, police visited a resident in Sa Nga Ban, Doi Saket District after receiving 432 prank calls. At the house, a woman who is referred to as Daorueng admitted that she is the owner of the number. However, the caller is her kindergarten cousin. She explained that she would let the child play with her phone after the school and the kid probably called 191 for fun.
Police warned the woman to instruct the child not to make prank calls again and emphasised that the call must only be for the urgent situation.
