CityNews – Today, 2nd October, at around 8am, a flash flood caused havoc as it gushed down the mountain towards Wat Tham Pak Pieng where Chiang Dao Caves sit.
Khamron Inta, the head of the village, said that it had rained heavily all night long and by morning the area was heavily flooded. No casualties or great damage has been reported at this time.
