Modern Calligraphy Workshop

August 14 - August 28

Modern Calligraphy workshops begin with introduction to calligraphy, differences among the terms calligraphy, lettering, and typography, its techniques divided by different tools and styles, familiarizing you with the supplies and how to build on the skills of penmanship. The practical lesson will address the drawing of each workshop’s topic. Demonstrations of calligraphy practice will be present for questions and to consult with each participant personally on their technique.
Workshops consist of 10% introduction + 90% practice

*Major tools to to be used as practice materials are brush pens and classic dip pens
*Suitable for beginning to intermediate level
*Bilingual class: The class will be conducted in both English and Thai
*Lesson sheets and art supplies will be prepared

About the Artist

Monticha or Fah is a self-taught artist who has been passionate about watercolor painting and handmade crafts which includes calligraphy, gift wrapping, macrame, crochet, embroidery, origami, home decor, etc. After she graduated from university, she has been developing her unique painting styles and giving workshops on watercolor and craft making ever since. Recently, she’s completed therapeutic art coaching session from Transformation Academy.
