N.O.R.D & Sangdee Art Gallery presents the second episode of AUTOMATIC with as special guest Abhi Meer (boxout.fm), a recognised artist from the India underground scene. He played New Delhi’s first Boiler Room (https://urlz.fr/bsOB) and recently represented Resident Advisor at the Magnetic Fields Festival. To warm-up this promising electronic night NORD will play a special set from Detroit Electro to Techno.

Abhi Meer (boxout.fm)
Abhi Meer is a touring DJ, radio host and producer of electronic music. When not buried behind a mountain of patch cables, he continues to plumb the depths of music through his long, angular DJ sets and regular radio shows. A former, widely-published music critic, Abhi Meer likens DJing to storytelling – a ruse for exploring fantasy worlds clubbed in with rationale for critical research. His now-distinctive DJ sets are presented via a contagious sense of youthful discovery and a protean mixing style. Recent appearances include two run-ins with Boiler Room, performances Magnetic Fields Festival, Moogfest, Boxout Weekender, Dutch Modular Fest as well as a slew of DJ residencies and regular club gigs all over India and multiple appearances at radio stations around the world such as The Lot Radio, Red Light Radio, dublab, Cashmere Radio and more.

NORD (HEDONE)
N.O.R.D aka Waldo Von D is a French DJ and Producer. His roots are in the rave scene of the 90’s and his main inspirations come from Detroit Electro, Lo-fi House, EBM, Minimal and weird Techno. He played many years in the best venues of the iconic Electro/Techno French city, Grenoble (Among others, The Hacker’s stronghold) Where he founded HEDONE a well known DJ crew recognized for its adventurous and uncompromising artistic direction. He promoted lot of events and had the pleasure of playing alongside some avant-garde artists as for example DJ Richard (White Material) or December (Jealous God/Mannequin/Pinkman). In late 2017 he relocating in Chiang Mai (Thailand) and Co-founded North Beat Records. He also played as resident DJ in Babylon Bar and continues to promote regulars events on the northern Thailand electronic scene which still stammering. His others musical projects focus on producing and promote his own digital label NORD Records. The first single “Rave To The Beat Feat. VenusLove” by N.O.R.D was released last December and is available on Bandcamp with below link.
