About the readings:
This will be an active and inspiring event. To celebrate the legacy of activism and civic responsibility, we will feature dynamic members of our community reading words that inspire them. We will highlight works that exist in the world, and prioritize the words and voices of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+.

A note on representing other people’s voices: Our intention is to create a platform for artists, writers, and activists in our community to share the words of others who inspire them. We endeavor to create a safer space, one that is anti-racist, gender affirming, and accessible. The readings are intended to honor the original writer, even when the reader does not share their identity. Care has been taken in the selection of works and readers. For any questions or concerns please contact the event organizers.
