Phrao bike week music festival ‘Ride For Kids’

Phrao Big Bike Festival, 12 December, featuring 500 big bikes from all over Lanna. Doors open at 3 pm, live music at 6 pm thru midnight. Charity funds raised will go to local schools.

There’s plenty of off-grid cheap hotels available in the area. If you need help re hotels message me. Location, Sports Stadium, Baan Setthi, Phrao. It’s on the main road from Mae Jo to Phrao, you can’t miss it.

You’ll see some outstanding big bikes, many custom. And as you would expect plenty of food stalls. I’ve been asked by the motorcycle groups of Lanna to extend a special welcome to the Chiang Mai expatriate community. A warm welcome awaits.

Note – It’s Phrao, not Phayao. Phrao is 100 km from Chiang Mai. Take Route 1001. Public transport is available from Chiang Phuek bus station. Songthaews and minibus. Travel time by public transport, 2 hours. By private transport, 90 minutes.
