A Creative Christmas Festival in the Heart of the Historic Sanpakoi–Wat Ket District
Chiang Mai Municipality, together with The Working Committee for the Development of the Creative District of Sanpakoi–Wat Ket, proudly presents “Sanpakoi Christmas Street 2025”—a vibrant and heartwarming Christmas street festival designed to celebrate community spirit, creativity, and local heritage.
The event aims to create an inspiring public space, foster community participation, and showcase the district’s unique identity through a wide variety of creative activities.

Concept & Inspiration
The Sanpakoi–Wat Ket district holds an important chapter in Chiang Mai’s history—not only as a once-thriving commercial area but also as the home of the city’s first pioneering Christian community established nearly 160 years ago.
Today, the district still retains its timeless charm: historic buildings, traditional architecture, and traces of its storied past remain beautifully preserved—an “ever-living heritage.”
These historical and cultural inspirations are reinterpreted through the Christmas festival, blended with contemporary creativity, community warmth, and a spirit of togetherness.

Special performances and activities from local churches and Christian schools.

International Community Participation
Engagement from expatriate residents in the Wat Ket area and across Chiang Mai.

All activities are made possible through the collective effort of local residents, partners, and community networks—presenting the district through a Local & Creative lens.
Free admission for all visitors throughout the event.
