Crash Course in Specialty Coffee

June 22

What separates specialty coffee from the nasty stuff in the supermarket?

At this workshop, we’ll cup premium arabica coffees together and talk about flavors, roasting, and what happens at the farm level.

The workshop will give you a broad introduction to specialty coffee and cupping.

We will also go into detail about washed and natural coffee and the role of processing.

You don’t need any prior experience with specialty coffee to join. Both beginners and intermediate coffee snobs are welcome.

The workshop is taught by Asser Christensen; a full-time coffee writer & licensed Q Arabica Grader with the CQI. He has reported about specialty coffee for media outlets such as Daily Coffee News, Sprudge, and Perfect Daily Grind.
