The NEXT Level Vet Xpert MoU

Boehringer Ingelheim and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University, launched the “The NEXT Level Vet’ Xpert” project, a mission for animal health and the elevation of the Thai veterinary profession.
Chiang Mai, Thailand – Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement joint activities and projects under the name “The NEXT Level Vet’ Xpert: One Mission for Pet Health.” This project reflects the shared mission to elevate the veterinary profession in Thailand, enhance the quality of animal health services, and contribute to the sustainable development of society.
Under this collaboration, both organizations will jointly develop and implement projects to enhance animal health and veterinary services, while raising awareness of the important role of the veterinary profession at large. Furthermore, the collaboration includes the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and academic resources, the development of media and knowledge for teaching and dissemination, and the organization of training, seminars, and social activities to enhance veterinary capacity. Profession and raising the standard of animal care in Thailand, responding to the trend of Pet Parents in Chiang Mai, opening a center of excellence in feline medicine. This collaboration also responds to the trend of pet keeping that continues to grow in Thailand, especially in Chiang Mai province, which is developing into a regional economic center. The expansion of both houses and condominiums has resulted in an increase in the population and pets, especially cats, which are becoming more popular as household pets. Data from the Small Animal Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University shows that the number of cats receiving services has continuously increased over the past 2-3 years, reflecting the demand for higher quality animal health services.
