Press Conference Tour De Chiang Mai

A press conference was held at Promenada Resort Mall to announce the Tour De Chiang Mai on 17 January 2016. The event is organised between The Sports Association of Chiang Mai and Chiang Mai-Lamphun Cycling Club, with the aim to promote tourism and health.

The 122km route will start at Promenada Resort Mall. The competition consists of 5 different categories including Male Road Bike, Female Road Bike, Male Mountain Bike, Female Mountain Bike and Tour. The Road Bike and Mountain Bike features a 122km route along scenic areas of Chiang Mai both flat and up and down hills of up to 680+ height about sea level, while the Tour route is 40km. Winners of each competition will receives trophies bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Siridhorn.

Applicants can register at http://goo.gl/forms/1mhZuxniDR until midnight 14 January 2016. Transfer registration fee (500THB) to the Sports Association of Chiang Mai’s account number 390-4-55540-0 and inform the staff at Line ID piak4495. Alternatively applicants can register and get their numbers at Promenada Resort Mall on 16 January between 10am – 8pm. There is no walk in application available on Race Day 17 January 2016.
