East of Suez Art and Textile Exhibition by Sabina Fay Braxton : A Daughter’s Tribute

137 Pillars House presents East of Suez, an exhibition celebrating the artistry of Peggy Braxton, by her daughter Sabina who will also display some of her own works.  Running from 2 November 2025 to 2 February 2026, the exhibition will showcase Peggy’s evocative paintings inspired by her travels across Asia and Sabina’s textiles and contemporary artworks.  The exhibition combined mother and daughter’s creative legacies in the very Chiang Mai home where they lived when it was a private residence. From haute couture collaborations to international design commissions, Sabina’s practice blends storytelling, craft, and culture, offering a deeply personal yet globally resonant exploration of art, heritage, and imagination.
