Opening Night of Hit The North Street Art Festival
October 17
A Warm Welcome to the Belfast Street Art Festival ‘Hit the North’
The Belfast Street Art Festival opened last night, drawing together a dedicated group of artists and supporters for an intimate gathering of creativity and community. Happening now on October 18, 2025, this grassroots event offers a chance to appreciate local talent and shared passions within the emerging street arts scene.
A special nod of thanks to Dream Graff Gallery for opening their doors and providing the welcoming space that makes this possible for emerging voices in street art. The British Council’s funding has been key in supporting this small-scale initiative, helping turn ideas into accessible experiences for those who join us.
Gratitude also to Elephant Parade for their thoughtful collaboration, weaving elephant sculptures into street art and adding a unique, conservation-focused element to our modest displays.
Shout-out to the talented Belfast team, whose works bring quiet inspiration to three special spots:
the nearby city center area (https://maps.app.goo.gl/m8mfK4YTwoQ81QUe7),
right opposite the friendly coffee shop (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ivr5Ej8WfmfMx639A), and along the waterfront path (https://maps.app.goo.gl/uiqEFjv62HwJX5gW7).
Come and meet the artists and find out what inspires them to use their talent to brighten up urban centres around the world.
