Losar Tashi Delek at Indian Consulate

A celebration-in-advance of Bhutan’s most auspicious festival Losar was hosted at the Consulate of India in Chiang Mai. Members of Bhutanese community in their national dress – women in Kira and men in Gho – participated in significant numbers. Many Bhutanese dances and songs – classical, modern, and patriotic – were presented. Besides catering north and south Indian dishes which were relished by the audience, Chai N Thai also put up a photo exhibition on India-Bhutan relations.
