The Backyard Mahidol Celebrates Family Connections with “Little Stars in the Backyard: Mom & Me”
The Backyard Mahidol welcomed families to celebrate Mother’s Day with “Little Stars in the Backyard: Mom & Me”, a special event designed to encourage children to express their talents while creating meaningful shared experiences for families.
The event forms part of The Backyard Mahidol’s ongoing vision to develop the venue as a family destination and community space, where creative activities bring people together and encourage families to spend quality time within the neighbourhood.
Young performers took to the stage with singing and traditional dance performances, supported by partner institutions including Chilada Music School, Nattayaleela and Blessing Music School. The programme gave children an opportunity to showcase their abilities, build confidence and perform in front of supportive families and visitors.
To further celebrate Mother’s Day, The Backyard Mahidol also hosted a series of family-friendly workshops, including “Sweet Memories”, a DIY croissant decorating activity by Croissant Mellow, and a Happy Pastel Plaster workshop. Special promotions and activities from businesses within the project added more ways for mothers and children to enjoy time together.
The event reflects The Backyard Mahidol’s role as an inclusive community space where children and families can meet, learn, participate in activities and create lasting memories. It also provides opportunities for partner institutions and businesses within the development to connect with local families and grow alongside the community.
The Backyard Mahidol plans to continue introducing new activities and experiences throughout the year, strengthening its position as a welcoming “good neighbour” and a place for people of all ages to meet, learn and spend meaningful time together.
