CityNews – On Monday, April 7th, Pol. Lt. Kritsada Jangtanusorn of the Nakorn Sawan Takhli Police Station received a report that a female body had been found in a sewer nearby.
At the scene, the officials found the body of an unknown woman aged between 20 – 25 years, wearing a short-sleeved black T-shirt, black shorts, and a purple bandanna on the ground nearby. After initial inspection, they noticed skin compression and bruises around the neck. The victim’s back had marks on it that indicated she had been dragged on the ground. The body was sent to the medical examiner for an autopsy. One eyewitness told the reporters that she spotted the body when she was trying to release fish into a nearby canal after returning from a temple. She then notified the police.
The police hypothesize it was an attempted rape because the victim was good looking. They think she fought him off, which made him angry, which caused him to strangle her with a rope and then hide the body in the sewer’s main drain. In another theory, the victim might have had a serious argument with her ??boyfriend before she was murdered. However, the officers will cross reference with missing person cases in Amphur Takhli and surrounding areas. They will also ask around the neighbourhood for more eyewitnesses.
