CityNews – On 6th January 2020, Sankampaeng police were alerted to a possible suicide in the district and upon arrival at the residence in question, found a man, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The name of the deceased was Charascheep Ruangpracha, 64 and it was soon discovered that he was a retired soldier who was struggling from stress and other personal issues. His wife informed police that upon waking up earlier that morning she had found him about to hang himself, but managed to stop him in time. However, Charascheep then grabbed for a gun and shot himself in the head in front of his wife.
