Thailand Ranked High on New Pulitzer ‘Road Kill’ Map

CityNews – The Pulitzer Centre has devised a new road accident, death toll map. Thailand ranks the second highest place ‘per capita’ for road deaths in the world behind Dominican Republic at 38 deaths per 100,000 people. 

What is also revealed by the centre is that the highest number of accidents take place in developing countries, and that fatalities mostly happen to “young, poor and male” people.
