CityNews – On March 30th, at Chiang Mai Airport, an officer declared the arrest of Miss Siriporn Seroomchon, (27), of Chachoensao province who was caught smuggling 4.230 kilograms worth of ice (Methamphetamine).
Around 7.30 p.m. on the evening of March 30th, the officer x-rayed the luggage of the alleged drug smuggler, who was scheduled on flight UO 753 of Hong Kong Express Airlines. The officer noted that the suspect was acting suspiciously, which led officials to check her bag more thoroughly. After the officer checked her luggage, they found something packed in a plastic bag and covered with Carbon and brown papers.
. In total, the drugs weighed in at 4.230 Kilograms, an estimated value of more than 13 million baht. The accused plead innocence but was detained by police officials at Phuping Police Station.
