CityNews – Yesterday afternoon, April 7, Sarapee police were informed of a fire at Wat Thung Khi Sua of Chompoo sub-district.
Firemen, residents, and monks helped to extinguish the fire.
The police believe the source of the fire was a monk’s quarters. The abbot said the monk living there loved to light the candles to worship Buddha.
The temple was only partly damaged since the blaze didn’t spread to other buildings in the temple.
