Following months of closure, the Sunday Walking streets reopened yesterday with around 1,000 vendors plying their wares and services, nearly all of the pre-pandemic vendors returning.
“This is the busiest Sunday we have seen this entire year,” grilled Supityanat Supakkietikul, 52, a regular vendor who said that she feels great relief that she can begin to earn money again.
