CityNews – The Rin Kham intersection expansion is expected to be completed by the end of December according to the Chiang Mai Highway District 2 Office.
The intersection is expanding the left turn lanes so that traffic will be able to turn left at red lights. The expansion is part of a larger upgrade of the Superhighway that has brought criticism after the office built over a major canal that they first said they would leave as open air canals.
The work will also re-adjust the location of the middle land divider of the Superhighway to more accurately merge with Nimmanhaemin Road.
