CityNews – 20th November 2019, reports began to circulate that the famous and very popular Kru Kwang, or Anurat Kosakul, 44, an executive at Center Stage Academy Thailand, who has helped teach and judge competitions in youth talent and skills nation, even worldwide, had committed suicide.
Rumours began to circulate on evening of the 19th when relatives of Kru Kwang went to the police to express their concern. They said that he had posted ‘Good Bye’ on his Facebook page and was now incommunicado. Relatives told the police that he had a history of depression and feared that he may have harmed himself.
Tracking his GPS, relatives and a rescue team drove out to a rural area in Mae On District, finding him in a car enveloped by smoke. Rescue workers tried to resuscitate him but it was too late.
Later, relatives told police that he had attempted suicide in this manner previously.
Students of Kru Kwang are invited to come and pay their respects on Wednesday 20th and 21st November at 7.30pm at First Church of Christ or on Friday 22nd at 10.30am. The cremation will be at San Ku Lek crematorium at 2pm on the same day.
