Police gathering evidence in Korean cyclist hit and run

CityNews – 30th January 2020, Police are gathering evidence in the case of the Korean cyclist who was subject of a hit and run incident, asking the public to come forward with any information.

A Korean youth champion cyclist was hit as he was cycling along the Mae Rim Samoeng road on the 28th January.

Unfortunately, in spite of medical personal arriving at the scene of the accident, he didn’t make it died from his injuries.

Initial investigations found a black pick up Isuzu truck with the Chiang Mai license plate ผย 8394 parked near the scene of the accident, with a damaged chassie.

However, as there are no witnesses to the incident, police are asking the public to come forward if they saw anything.

The victim was a 19 year old cyclist here with his team and police say that they need help to have more concrete evidence whether or not the suspected vehicle was involved.
