CityNews – On 15th August, 11 p.m. Chiang Mai Police arrested a Mae Rim vegetable seller, Kowit Kantang (36), with 20 amphetamine pills.
Police had a tip off previous to the arrest about a man who was selling drugs at the same time as selling and delivering vegetables. They used an under-cover officer to buy 20 pills from the man for 2,600 baht. When he showed up with the goods police arrested him. Kowit later confessed that he had 200 more pills in his car.
