CityNews – 21 February 2020, Chang Puak police station reported that Napat Korn, 37, owner of Pan Car Rental, who identifies as a woman, was arrested for ‘scamming the public and using computer technology to mislead causing damage to people’, according to the arrest warrant.
The arrest followed numerous complaints from people who had transferred money into her account as a deposit, and following the return of the vehicle the money was not returned to them.
Napat admitted her guilt to the police and her account has been immediately frozen pending investigations.
