A 63 year old retired government official had his pickup truck broken into and nearly a million baht’s worth of valuables stolen, say Saraphi police.
According to the victim, his bag was snatched from the pickup truck containing valuable amulets, gold necklaces and cash. He told police that he had parked his vehicle near Pa Ngiew temple, down a quiet lane while leaving his belongings in the car for one hour. On his return he saw monks and villagers million around his vehicle and saw the damage.
