CityNews – A drug runner trying to evade a routine checkpoint in Chiang Rai was caught with 22,000 amphetamine pills yesterday morning. A Toyoata Vigo crammed full of 15 passengers was stopped by the Maejan police to undergo a random check, when a couple passengers tried to sneak away.
One of the “suspicious-looking characters” was checked and police discovered a black bag full of meth that the man later confessed he was to deliver to the south of Thailand.
