CityNews – 24 March 2020, Chang Pueak Police announced that they have arrested a man who has hoarded 45,000 masks which were being sold at inflated prices.
A 47 year old man has been found with 45,000 masks following a sting operation where police attempted to purchase some masks off his Facebook. The masks were being sold for 14.25 baht each. Police were supposed to take 285,000 baht in cash to a row of townhouses in Chotana area where the ma would make his delivery. Following the arrest they found a further 25,000 masks hidden at his shop.
He will be prosecuted.
