CityNews – On 29th July at 2:40 p.m., the Chiang Mai City Police Station received a call that a body had been found floating in the Chiang Mai Moat near Somphet Market.

The police arrived at the scene with a rescue team, where they found a male body floating in the moat. The man was topless without any identification. He had a wound on his left eyebrow as if he’d been hit. The police assumed he had been dead for at least 12 hours.

Another witness told the police that he saw the man fighting with his friend, then he fell into the moat. His body was found by a tourist who later told Seven-Eleven’s staff to call the police. The case is still under investigation.
