Maharaj Hospital Offering Diabetes Check-ups for Public in Chiang Mai

CityNews – On Tuesday 12^th November Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital will be holding blood tests for the public from 7 a.m. until noon.

The hospital will perform check-ups and provide information about diabetes to those who wish to be tested. A seminar will also be held to educate the public about the prevention of diabetes and wiser eating habits.

Today, there are more than 150 million diabetic people worldwide, and that number has been said to double in the next 20 years. Therefore, awareness about health and diet needs to be available and shared amongst everyone. This event will be held ahead of World Diabetes Day on 14^th November.
