Chiang Mai Municipality is setting up Loy Krathong decorations across the city in an effort to return to normalcy and attract coming tourists.
Three Kings Monument, Tha Pae Gate and the moat itself is being decorated and the areas are already attracting local residents who come for evening selfies.
There are five New Normal regulations for this coming Loy Krathong, announced the municipality:
1. Spot checks for antigen tests
2. Use application Yeepeng Chiang Mai (for out of towners)
3. Register into CM Chana
4. Temperature checks and social distancing including mask wearing at all events
5. Alcohol stations for hand cleansing across all events locations.
