CityNews – From 7th-9th August the 6th Festival for the Indigenous Peoples of Thailand will take place.
It will be held at Chiang Mai University Arts Center, Kru Ba Sri Wichai monument, and at the four corners of the Chiang Mai moat.
The Indigenous Peoples Network invites the public to understand various campaigns supporting indigenous people, while there will be sessions in which to analyze various problems affecting minority groups.
The festival will be a good opportunity to express opinions and gain knowledge and a better understanding of the rights of indigenous peoples. There will be particular focus on the problems of indigenous children and the abuse and exploitation that may impinge on their lives.
