CityNews – 21st September 2019: Following the death of a leukemia patient who had purchased cannabidiol oil from a suspected illegal distributor, police raided a residence in Ban Pa Kluay Supan, Chomphu, Saraphi District.
Nipon Posan, 34, and Wichunee Pakdeerat, 31, were arrested after police found evidence consisting of an amount of cannabidiol and 3.4 million baht in cash. They were charged with possession of drugs.
Authorities have advised that those who are interested in the product must strictly follow medical advice as the side effects can be fatal.
