CityNews – 25th March 2020, the provincial hall finally gets strict in its prevention measures.

The College of Art, Media and Technology (CAMT), Chiang Mai University, in conjunction with China’s Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Science, have just installed temperature checkpoints for all people entering the Chiang Mai Provincial Hall.
The AI Body Temperature System is accurate up to +-0.3 degree Celsius.  It uses an AI facial recognition software, infrared thermal camera and a blackbody for temperature accuracy. A data dashboard will feature all pertinent information of each person including height and sex and save in the human resources record management system through facial recognition programmes.

Hand-washing basins with soaps are also provided across the offices.
