Yesterday afternoon a foreign woman enjoying a day out at the Wang Bua Ban waterfall slipped and fell, having to be saved by rescue workers (nicknamed Sticky Waterfall by expats and tourists because being limestone it is less slippery than most waterfalls).

The woman in her twenties or thirties, say rescue wokers, fell and was stuck unable to help herself out at a point around 400 metres from the falls’ entrance.

She was taken to Ram hospital, but is believed to have suffered from minor injuries.
