Sansai’s Nong Jom sub district has been hit particularly hard this past week as floods continue to damage homes and businesses.
As to the Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai road which was battered by floods, causing six sections of the newly constructed road to be swept away, the road is now open, though the going can be difficult at times with temporary Bailey bridges set up.
Authorities say that the road should be back to working condition by the 9th August.
Rains are expected to continue through the 11th August and you are all advised to take good care of yourselves and properties.
