Flood and Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Centre set-up for Upcoming Heavy Rains

CityNews – The governor, Thanin Supasaen, told the press that Chiang Mai will set up a temporary Flood and Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Centre in Chiang Mai.

After the warning was announced by the Northern Meteorological Department concerning heavy rain and flash flooding in northern Thailand from June to September, the governor announced plans to open a Flood and Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Centre in Chiang Mai.
