Forensic pathologist, Khun Ying Pornthip Rojanasunand, who became a household name after the 2004 tsunami, as well as many high profile cases, shared an incident which occurred to her on social media.

According to the doctor, on the night of October 3rd, she had parked her car near Tulou Restaurant on Wualai Road when a young man wearing all black smacked her car really loudly and told her to move. She did so, but then carted her luggage back to find him to, according to her, politely ask him by what authority he demanded she move, when there were no road signs indicating no parking. He had merely said that a VIP was coming and aggressively shouted at her to move. He refused to engage with her and walked away.

The doctor posted images of the man on her Facebook account, along with the following message, “…By what authority did he have to act so aggressively? I tried to talk to him decently, but he kept walking back and forth. He also wouldn’t tell me who he was or where he was from. If you dare to act this way, you need to dare to take responsibility for your actions.” She then plead with the governor of Chiang Mai to look into this person and chastised him for being too young to act this way.
