CityNews – On 28th August Chiang Mai police arrested drug mules Panida Tanomrungreung (35), Wiriya Saekor (31), Nakorn Tanomrungreung (18), Kritsakorn Saenkwang (30), Preecha Saemor (29), and Wichai Saemor (28) with 526,000 amphetamine pills. They also seized a Nissan car, and a Toyota car on Ta Ton – Mae Chan Road in the Mae Ai District.
Police were informed that the men would pick up the drugs at Ban Huay San in the Mae Ai area and deliver them to Bangkok. Police stopped the cars at Ban Ta Ma Kaeng and found the drugs mixed with agricultural produce.
When they searched Panida’s house in San Sai district they afound 4,000 pills and 1 kg of heroine.
Police seized 100,000 baht from Panida and Wiriya, 4 rai of land and a house, 3 cars, 2 motorcycles, and properties worth around 8 million baht.
