CityNews – Chartchai Kwangsukstith, MD., Asst.Prof, Chief of the Department of Dermatology, Department of Internal Medical, Chiang Mai University, announced to the public that during the rainy season people should be aware of various infections including Athlete’s Foot.

He said that Athlete’s Foot may occur when people spend a lot of time with their feet in water, or when their feet are damp for a long time. He recommends that when your feet have been exposed to water outside then people should wash their feet immediately when they return home, and then dry and apply baby powder.
Other infections, should as fungal infections, are also common. Chartchai said the best thing was to keep dry, and try not to stay in damp conditions for a long time.
