CityNews – The Department of Forestry Chiang Rai opened the ‘Kick Off’ campaign on 22nd January to encourage people to reduce burning in order to reduce smog, an annual problem in the north part of Thailand.
The campaign will run from 22nd January to 10th February and will also move to all nine provinces of the upper north: Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Lampang, Lamphun, Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son and Tak.
