CityNews – On March 20, the Pingkanakorn Development Agency held a cycling event at the Three Kings Monument to promote bike tourism and the release of three historical cycling route map books of Chiang Mai.
The event began in the morning, where Chiang Mai Governor Prawin Chamniprasart was the guest of honor.
Over 300 cyclists joined the event.
Dr. Sarawut Srisakul, director of Pingkanakorn Development Agency, said that the event was held to celebrate Chiang Mai’s 720th Anniversary, to promote tourism in Chiang Mai and to encourage exercise and green transport in the city.
Three books by Somchok Ongsakul were also released on the same day, that cover road maps with cycle routes and historical cycling tours of Chiang Mai.
