CityNews – Pol.Maj. Arnon Cherdchutrakulthong led a team to arrest two chicken deliverers, Aekasit Mahawan, 31, and Chonakarn Chavapatee, 25, on drugs charges of selling 50 yaba pills on 7th June.
It was reported that the two chicken delivers who sold Five Star Grilled Chickens from their small pickup truck, stuffed the grilled chickens with drugs, using their chicken delivery methods as a cover for their operations.
The two men met in prison recently, both having been convicted for drug offences, and fell in love with one another. Upon release, they told police, they had planned to start a new life together so that they could live happily, hoping the income from their grilled chicken yaba business would help them to start up their new lives.
The couple were transferred to Chiang Mai police station for further proceedings. It is unknown whether they will be returned to the same jail.
