CityNews – Chinese tourists once again make headlines after netizens shared images showing a woman drying her underwear by hanging them around the departure lounge of Chiang Mai’s International Airport.
Chiang Mai International Airport’s public relations division confirmed that the images were real and they believe her underwear must have been wet.
At the time, airport staff approached the woman and instructed she refrained from drying her clothes in the airport.
No further action was taken as it didn’t affect airline safety.
The images were widely shared online with netizens who unanimously complained that this kind of behaviour is not appropriate in Thailand.
