Chiang Mai stays at top of world pollution chart

CityNews – 30th March 2020, Chiang Mai’s Airvisual index shows that our PM2.5 levels are at 220 micrograms per square metres, keeping us up there at the top of the world chart for the most unhealthy air in the world.

The municipality is busy spraying water around to mitigate the problem.

Charoenrit Sanguansat, Governor of Chiang Mai, said that we can expect bad air for at least the next three days.
