Chiang Mai Prepares Flowers for HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Funeral

CityNews – Authorities have announced that preparations are being made for His Majesty late king Rama IX’s funeral this October.

From now until the end of August the public can go to Central Festival or Central Airport to learn how to make artificial funeral flowers, donating them to the province. It is hoped that one million flowers will be made and distributed to all 24 districts. It is also expected that over 100,000 people will attend the funeral in Chiang Mai city and authorities are working to find the venue to host the funeral and working with traffic police to make sure that all is well.
