CityNews – On 25th May, Police Region 5 and Chiang Mai City Police Station arrested Jadepon Janboontawee (24), charged with obscenity for riding his motorcycle naked around the streets of Chiang Mai.

Police had earlier received a report with information that the naked man had been seen on Huay Kaew Road. A video of the man was posted on YouTube. After gaining the IP address of the poster police discovered the people involved with the stunt.
They explained that friends had been hanging out at Kadchurn Doi near Nimmanhaemin Road. One of Jadepon’s friends said that if he rode around Chiang Mai naked he would give him 1,000 baht, a dare that was taken.
The police added that the group of young men called themselves ‘Rock Mode’ and were well known for strange behaviour and obscenity in public.
Jadepon will be fined 800 – 2,000 baht.
