CityNews – On 24th July, around 8 p.m. Tassanai Buranupakorn, the Mayor of Chiang Mai, with officers and entrepreneurs surveyed Chiang Mai city at night looking for overly-bright LED signs that have drawn complaints.
The Mayor told the press that there were no regulations or restrictions on the brightness of the signs. For now, the municipality only asked for cooperation in reducing the brightness at night.
