Chaiwat to Appear in Petchaburi Court Following Disappearance of Human Rights Advocate

CityNews –A Petchaburi Court will hold an emergency hearing on April 30th concerning Billy, the Karen village chief who disappeared on April 17th. Chaiwat Limlikhit-aksorn, the head of Kaeng Krachan National Park, has been ordered to show in court.

On April 24th, Pinnapa Pruksapan (27) filed a complaint to a Petchaburi court about the disappearance of her husband, Sakda Sangmee (Billy), leader of the Baan Bang Loi Karen village.

Billy went missing after he was detained and questioned by park rangers. Pinnapa has asked the rangers for his release because she believes her husband is still alive. Theerapan Pankreri, a Petchaburi Court case attorney, told reporters that the court granted the petition and interviewed witnesses Pinnapa and Krathong Chodwiboon, the village chief of Baan Bang Loi. Chaiwat Limlikitacsorn and another park ranger will testify on April 30th.
